While working at Boozers in Idaho Falls, Jerry met the love of his life, Wilma Weimer. They were married April 30, 1960, in Basalt. They lived for a while in Basalt, then moved to California then back to Basalt where they spent most of their 61 years together. Jerry loved to spend time in Island Park, particularly during the reunions. He enjoyed visiting with family, playing pinochle, fishing, traveling when he could, and so much more. He loved spending time with his grandkids and watching them grow into wonderful adults. They eventually made his life even brighter with great-grandchildren. He is so proud of his family and he made sure they knew it. Jerry was a kindhearted man who dedicated the last decade or more of his life caring for his loved ones and making sure they were taken care of even to his last day. Survivors beside Wilma included: daughters Tana (Gary) Robinson, Lori (Clayton) Orme; grandchildren Jake(Lindsey) Robinson, Brittney (Dillon) Howell, Casey (Kalli)Robinson, Dereck (Ashley) Waggoner, Andy Waggoner, Chase Loynd, Amber Serr, Sarah Baker, Chance Loynd; great grandchildren Jordan Robinson, Jerry Waggoner, Donivan Waggoner, Carson Robinson, Cage Waggoner, Isabel Waggoner, Axel Waggoner, Daxon Howell, Zoey Howell and Paxton Robinson; precedied by son Jerry Freeman, great grandson Donic Howell and great granddaughter Angel Baby Waggoner. Graveside service held Tuesday, June 22nd with military rites.
