Blanche Schleis, age 99, of 416, Mishicot, died Thursday evening, June 9, 1884 at the North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, June 11,1994, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. Rev. John Neuser will officiate with burial at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Tisch Mills.
She was born March 12 ,1895, in Tisch Mills, daughter of the late Wenzel and Anna Krynik Zimmerhakel. She was married to Matt Schleis on November 4, 1920, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. He preceded her in death on April 30,1959.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Vernon and Margaret Schleis, rural Mishicot; a daughter, Beatrice Lawler, Two Rivers; 11 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other friends. She is preceded in death by one sister.
Friends may call at the Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot from 4 - 8 pm Friday (THIS EVENING) and on Saturday until we leave for the church at 10 am. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm this evening.
