John Featherstone one of the oldest citizens of Holly Springs, janitor of the white Presbyterian church, died Friday, October 11, and was buried Monday. The funeral was conducted by Rev. E. F. Scarbrough, pastor of Asbury M. E. Church from Terrell's undertaking parlor. He leaves three daughters, one Sister-in-law, Mrs. Sarah Milam and a host of relatives and friends. The body was laid to rest in Hillcrest Cemetery.
