Williamstown, MO, Feb. 8-Relatives of Lawrence (Duke)Lemmon have received word of the death of Mrs. Lemmon at her home in Rochester, Minn. Mrs. Lemmon was the former Miss Effie McCarty. She was first married to Wm. Anderson. Some time after his death, she married Lawrence Lemmon. They located at Rochester where she was taken seriously ill over a year ago. Death took place Monday, Feb. 5, 1940.
Funeral services were held at the M.E. church Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial was at Liberty Church.
