Born Antonia Leogrande in Ginosa, Pulgia, Italy. The daughter of Giambattista Leogrande and Domenica Castronover (Castronovie). She immigrated to the US aboard the SS Taormina with her mother and 6 year old brother Giovanni in June of 1910. She lived in Utica, New York where she married John (Giovanni) Lazzaro in 1925. They had 7 children. They relocated to Southern California 1945.
