William Stevenson, a farmer living across the county line, near Perry township, died at 6 o'clock on Wednesday morning of winter cholera. He was taken with a violent pain in the stomach about dusk on Tuesday evening. A physician administered the usual remedies, but without effect. After suffering most excrutiatingly until nearly morning, the patient sank into a comatose state, and died two hours later.
