Nellie was born on October 12th, 1935, daughter of the late John Otto Stone and Gussie Worley Stone.
Nellie was survived by her loving husband, Thomas Allred; three daughters, Joyce Ann (and Frank) Cooper, Molly (and Robert) Tinch, and Kim (and Rodney) Lee; two grandchildren, Misty Tinch and Harrison Lee; three brothers, Richard Stone, Ronald "Slim" Stone, and Roland "Tubby" Stone; two sisters, Annie Dishman and Lois Thorton; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto Stone, who departed this life on July 28th, 1967 and Gussie Stone, who departed this life on March 24th, 1993; five sisters, Hester Christeen Stone, who departed this life on July 15th, 1932, Gearidine Stone, who departed this life on November 15th, 2006, Dora Ellen Stone Garrett, who departed this life on Monday, January 26th, 2015, Doris Jean Stone Hall, who departed this life on August 27th, 2015, and Joyce Stone Mills, who departed this life on September 21st, 2020; and two brothers, Lonnie Chester Stone, who departed this life on April 28th, 2000 and Ray Franklin Stone, who died in infancy on Christmas Eve, December 24th, 1934.
Visitations were held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 17th 2021 at the Mundy Funeral Home South in Clarkrange, Tennessee.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 17th 2021 in the Chapel of the Mundy Funeral Home South.
Burial followed in the Clarkrange Cemetery in Fentress County, Tennessee.
