Alex Banks Jr., a licensed barber and a resident of Baton Rouge, died at 4:45 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2007. He was 59.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia W. Banks; a daughter, Mignon L. Banks; a sister, Tanya B. Johnson; three brothers, Carroll, Kevin and Mark Banks; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Alex and Bessie W. Banks; a brother, Erryl W. Banks; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law.
He was also a disc jockey. He graduated from McKinley Senior High School in Baton Rouge and Barber College in New Orleans.
Arrangements entrusted to Winnfield Funeral Home. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park.
