BLAND, Elbert Bland
LIBERTY - Elbert Bland, 79, of Liberty Route 2 died Thursday at his residence. Born April 2, 1917, in Casey County, he was the son of the late James Bland and Sarah Farris Bland. He was a farmer and member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Maeola Wethington Bland; a son, David Wayne Bland of Cincinnati; two
daughters, Wanda Faye Leach of Waynesburg and Mary Rosetta Wilkerson of Cincinnati; two sisters, Della Hamm and Alta Derringer, both of Liberty; five grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by the Rev. Vernon Blakey. Burial will be in Whited Cemetery. Visitation is after 8 a.m.
