(1956 - 2007)

Robert A. "Huck" Hochman, age 50, of 16432 Taus Road, Reedsville, died Friday morning April 6, 2007, at home with his family at his side, following a courageous fight with cancer.

Bob was born June 3, 1956, in Manitowoc, a son of Rose Tolksdorf Hochman and the late Anton "Tony" Hochman. He was a 1974 graduate of Reedsville High School. After high school Bob began his career with the Manitowoc Engineering Co. as a machinist until his illness wouldn't allow him to work any longer in Nov. of 2005. On May 7, 1983, he was married to the former Chris K. Dugan at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Maple Grove. Bob loved to walleye fish, bow and gun hunt for whitetail deer, and just enjoy the outdoors. He was a member of Holy Family Parish of Brillion, and the Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local 516 where he served as a union steward.

Survivors include his wife: Chris, of rural Reedsville; his son: Michael at home; his mother: Rose Hochman of Whitelaw; five sisters and three brothers-in-law: Catherine Becker of Long Beach, Calif.; Mary (James) Byrne of Ellenbury Depot. N.Y.; Barbara Wilker of Two Rivers; Roseann (Bruce) Gadzinski of Whitelaw; Teresa (Russell) Braun of Cato; his mother-in-law: Geraldine Dugan of Cato; three sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law: Kathy (Jon) Kabat of Kiel; John (Nancy) Dugan of Whitelaw: Rosie (Dan) Daley of Henderson, Nev.; Shannon Dugan of Green Bay; nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends survive. He was preceded in death by his father: Anton "Tony" Hochman; his father-in-law: John Dugan; one brother-in-law: Ronald Becker.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at Holy Family Parish, 1100 West Ryan Road, Brillion. The Rev. Matt Simonar will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with cremation to follow.

Relatives and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville is serving the Hochman family.

A special thank you to all of Bob's family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers for all of your help and support. Thank you also to the Cancer Treatment Center of Zion, Ill., and the staff of Woodland Clinic for giving their help and inspiration to Bob in his illness. Thank you all, it was greatly appreciated.
