Jack Allan Broussard
August 23, 1936 - July 19, 2021

Mr. Jack Allan Broussard, 84, of Pineville, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 19, 2021, in his home with his loving wife of forty-eight years, Eva Jo Broussard by his side. He will be honored in a graveside service at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Pine Prairie, with Chaplain Dominick Dicarlo officiating, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

He was born on August 23, 1936 in Pine Prairie, Evangeline Parish, where he lived for fifty-eight years and raised his family. Jack attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and later served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Soon after, he returned home to Louisiana and studied radiology. He was respected by peers and patients for his professionalism and gentle personality. He eventually retired from working for the federal government. He had a passion for gardening, real estate opportunities and reading. His favorite way to relax was to take a ride on his tractor on family land.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Morgan and Mabel (Bell) Broussard; siblings, Betty Jo Lacaze, Marjorie Ensminger and Johnny "Sugarfoot" Broussard; and his son, Danny Broussard.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his wife, Eva Jo; children, Amy, Morgan, Kristi and Jeff; and grandchildren, Sophia, Sumie, Wes, Ruby, Rowan, Grant, Phin and Gabriel.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Compassionate Care Hospice, Passages Hospice, Holiday Village and Deville Volunteer Fire Departments and the wonderful private sitters who personally cared for Jack, Aymen Hammoudeh and Spencer Evans.

Pallbearers honored to serve are: Harris Manuel, Damion Manuel, Wes Creel, Tommy Ardoin, Larry Johnson, and Lamar Johnson.
