Opal Collett Hatt, 94, passed away February 9, 2004 in Sandy, Utah. Born April 13, 1909 in Vernal, Utah, daughter of Clarence James and Margaret Watkins Collett. Married Charles LeRoy Hatt July 25, 1930 in Murray, Utah; he preceded her in death October 31, 1969. She was an active member of the LDS Church. Served an LDS mission in Georgia. She was involved for 25 years with 4-H. She made beautiful quilts and was a compassionate, loving person to all.

Survived by children, Patricia (Howard) Newson, Sandy; Everett (Mary Hatt, West Valley City; Janiel Houghton, Sandy; Charles Hatt and Shannon Freeman, West Valley City; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grand children; 11 great-greatgrand children; sister, Luella (Merrill) Smith, Kearns; brother, Milo Collett, Sandy. Preceded in death by four brother; two sisters; grandsons, David and Kenneth; great-granddaughter, Brianna; two sons-in-law.
