He is preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Harold, and wife Patricia and Brother Donn. He is survived by: son Timothy McCashland, MD, and wife Beth Asbjornson-McCashland, granddaughter Alexandra (Omaha): son Michael McCashland and wife Jennifer (Omaha) grandchildren, Demi and Travis Jacobi (Denver), Morgan and Landon Keller (Eustis) and Vincent and Jade (Omaha), daughter Ann Kirby and husband Dave (Lincoln), grandchildren, Jackie and Matt Sleddens (Lincoln), Erin and R.J.Hruska (Lincoln) Katie and Jimmy Sedivy (Lincoln) Breanna and Allison Kirby; Patrick McCashland and wife Courtney (Lincoln); grandchildren, Megan, Mariah, Noah and Nathan, great- grandchildren Stella, Sullivan and Hannah Sleddens, Wesson, Wrigley and Wells Jacobi, Vivian and Jack Hruska, Crew Keller and Laramie and Leighton McCashland. He is also survived by two sisters Coryle (Tom) Cook and Mary (Alan) Theobald and numerous nieces and nephews. Dick was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather and loyal businessman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to The University of Nebraska Foundation or St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Lincoln.
