Angela Razzano Capasso November 14, 2007
Angela Razzano Capasso, 87, of Eastwood, passed away Wednesday at Upstate Hospital. Born in Cervino, Italy, she resided in Syracuse since 1953. Angela retired from Syracuse China and was also a former employee of Julius Resnick Pocketbook Factory. A communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church, Angela was a member of the Italian Prayer Group at Our Lady of Pompei Church and was also a former member of St. Ann's Circle at Blessed Sacrament.
She was predeceased by her husband, Nicola Capasso, in 1979; sisters, Angela Rose Vigliotti and Antonietta Vigliotti; and brothers, Angelo Razzano, Rev. Fortunato Razzano and Luigi Razzano.
Angela is survived by her daughters, Filomena Valentino and Angela (John) DeSantis, both of Syracuse ; son, Vincent Capasso of Phoenix, Arizona; nine grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 8:15 a.m. at the funeral home and 9 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial in Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, CNY Chapter, 441 W. Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse , NY 13204
