VICTOR E. DEWANE
(1945 - 2021)

Victor E. Dewane, age 76, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

He was born May 7, 1945 in Cooperstown, Wisconsin, son of the late Edward and Val (Wegner) Dewane. Victor served in the United States Navy and went on to own and operate Vic's Used Autos in Manitowoc and Skyline Motors in Green Bay and Manitowoc. He was a proud member of St. Thomas the Apostle Fundraising Community and was an instrumental part in satisfying the church mortgage.

Victor is survived by his special friend: James D. Brunner, Manitowoc; three children: Angela Popp and friend Timothy Meunier, Two Rivers; Jim & Jennifer Dewane, Green Bay; and Amanda & Jason Ramage, Cary, Illinois; the mother of his children: Kathy Dewane, Two Rivers; five grandchildren: Zander and Vivian Popp, Alec Dewane, and Zoe and Ava Ramage; five brothers and six sisters: Eugene Dewane, Rocky (Lynn) Dewane, Patti (Danny) Schmidt, sister-in-law: Mary, all of Arizona; Bud (Sue) Dewane, Florida; Mike (Laura) Dewane, Betty Bubolz, Jerry Dewane, Mary (Ron) Christianson, Anita Dewane, Karen (Leroy) Sorenson, and Barb (Glenn) Brandl, all of Wisconsin; and a special cat: Romeo. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was further preceded in death by four brothers: Andrew, Daniel, Joseph, and Tony; one sister-in-law: Sandra Dewane; and one brother-in-law: Elmer Bubolz.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, 8100, Brunner Road, Newton. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry. Following services, cremation will occur and Victor will be laid to rest in the St. Thomas the Apostle Columbarium.

The family will great relatives and friends from 4:30 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton.
