"Ellsworth - Feb. 19 - Dr. Wesley P. Arner, aged 75, well known physician of Fowler, Trumbull county, passed away at his home Friday afternoon, death resulting from a cerebral hemorrhage. He was born in Ellsworth, Sept. 2, 1854, a son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Harkelrode Arner. Dr. Arner had been a practicing physician in Fowler and Trumbull county for 47 years, having a large practice. He was a graduate of Western Reserve University, Cleveland, in 1883 and was honor student in his class. He also attended Mt. Union college and high school in Canfield. He was a member of Cortland Lodge, F. & A. M. and the Mahoning Chapter, No. 66, of Warren. His wife died some years ago. Surviving are a daughter and one brother, Caleb. B. Arner, Ellsworth, two nieces, one of whom had charge of his home. Funeral services were held at the residence in Fowler at 1:30 Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. C. M. Olliphant and the Masonic lodge of Cortland, Interment was made in the family lot in Ellsworth cemetery."
