"Ellsworth - Zadock L. Arner 79, born in Ellsworth Jan. 15, 1846, son of Daniel Arner, died Aug. 28 of complications at the home of his daughter in Fremont, O. He was well known in this township where he spent his young manhood. In 1875 he was married to Elizabeth Ormsby, who preceded him in death nine years, and to this union six children were born, five of whom survive, David at Rome, O., Mrs. Haire, New Brighton, Mrs. Rathburn, Fremont, Roy, Beaver Falls, Mrs. St. John, Gloversville, N. Y. He also leaves two brothers, Caleb of Ellsworth, Dr. W. P. Arner of Fowler, and three grandchildren. Burial was made in Rock Creek cemetery."
