Martha Saaman, 92, of 1902 Mead Ave., died Wednesday, July 31, 1991, at Heritage Nursing Center.
Martha was born August 2, 1898, at Sheboygan, a daughter of the late Herman and Anna Rabe Schelk.
On October 3, 1919, she and Cornelius Saaman were united in marriage in Waukegan, III. He preceded her in death on December 5, 1956.
Martha is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Melvin and Agnes Saaman, of Sheboygan; two daughters and a son-in-law, Janice Becker, of the Town of Meeme, and Karen and Robert Richter, of Sheboygan; one brother, Fred Schelk, of Crivitz, Wis.; one sister, Elsie Reinke, of Sheboygan; 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a son, Gilbert and a grandchild, Eugene.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 3, 1991, 4 p.m., at the Ramm-Ziegler-Novak-Rettke Funeral Home-Southside Chapel, 1535 S. 12th Street. Rev. Elmer C. Larson, pastor of Luther Memorial Church, will officiate. Burial will take place in Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m., until time of services.
