Marie was the daughter of Joseph Barbeau and Addie (Touron) Barbeau. She first married Albert Dore Nov. 6, 1910 in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada. They had three children Mary Alma b. Dec. 29, 1911 in Algoma, Albert Joseph b. Oct. 24, 1913 Algoma and Harry b. abt. 1915. Albert passed away May 3, 1921 and was buried in St- Ignace.

Mabel then married a widower William George Little on Dec. 6, 1923 in Algoma. William died in 1969.
