Robert "Bob" Vice" went to be with the Lord on Thanksgiving day, November 22nd, 2007 at the VA hospital in Danville, illinois, after a long fight with cancer. Bob Vice was born to William & Elizabeth Vice on December 6th, 1945. Bob was one of 14 children. Bob was in the army from 1965 to 1969. He enjoyed nascar,Dale Ernhart Jr., he loved listening to Elvis Presley,hanging out with his brother's,sister's,nieces,nephews, and friends at The Ridge.He enjoyed camping. He loved helping anyone he could and he always smiled as he gave kids dollar bills.He was employeed by American Chevrolet in Danville, il. He leaves behind two sons, Bobby (Lorie)Vice of Colorado,and Scott (Maxine)Vice of Ridge Farm,il. Two grandchildren Sierra & Brody Vice and one due in February 2008. He also leaves behind 7 brothers,Leland,Mike(Lou Ann),Jack(Terrie),Jim(Evlynn),Joe(Patty),Kevin,(Patty)&Butch(Sherry) and four sisters,Bev(Larry) Miles,Sharon Vice, Tina(Randy)Porter,&Cindy(Frank)Mason.He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and a special friend Linda (Champion)Gilroy. He was preceded in death by, his father William H Vice,two brothers Bill Vice and Raymond Dale Vice, also his nephews Douglas Miles, Darren Hammer, and great nephew Britt Douglas Martin and his niece Sherry Lynn Vice.Bob will be laid to rest in the Crown Hill cemetary in Ridge farm ,il. Visitation will be November 26th,at 4~8pm at sunset funeral home and the funeral will be Tuesday,November 27th, 2007 at 1pm. Bob will be missed and loved by many many people.A special thanks to all the staff at the VA Hospital in Danville, illinois and to all who helped and prayed for Uncle Bob.Thank you and God bless.
