Obituary-Last Friday morning Mrs. Andrew Swanson [40] was suddenly taken violently ill. A doctor was summoned who did what he could but to no avail. She died in the night after an illness of only seventeen hours. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon. Not withstanding the inclement weather, quite a large number of relatives, neighbors and acquaintances from far and near had gathered at the Swedish church to witness the sad ceremony. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. Sanden, after which the Baptist minister spoke a few words of consolation. The deceased leaves a husband to mourn the loss of a good gentle and beloved wife, and eight children to deeply feel that a kind and loving mother has gone from them, never to return. Their many friends sympathize with them in their bereavement.
