Janice Bishop of Dover passed away on August 14, 2021. She was 77.
Born on October 5, 1943, in Princeton, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Arnold Church and Cynthia Odell Church. Janice was dedicated to spreading the Pentecostal gospel and owned and operated Harvest Ridge Church in West Virginia. She was active with End Time Ministry Outreach, loved rescuing animals and enjoyed gardening.
Janice is survived by her son Kris (Traci) Bishop of Clayton, Delaware, her daughter, Kimberly Bishop of Smyrna, Delaware and her grandchildren, Aven Bishop-Wright, Christian Parker, and Makenzie Swartley. She is also survived by her siblings Clyde Church of North Carolina, Harold Church of West Virginia, Ray Church of West Virginia, Jack Church of West Virginia, Ronnie Church of West Virginia, Billy Church of West Virginia, and Shelby Carrico of Grant, Alabama.
She was predeceased by her loving husband William and son, William "Billy" Bishop as well as her siblings Leonard and James Church and Lucy Carrico.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021, from 1-2pm at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home located at 106 West Sunset Avenue, a service will follow. Burial will follow in Greensboro Cemetery.
