Before moving to Somers fifteen years ago, Mrs. Mutti lived in Croton-on-Hudson, where she was president of the PTA in the mid-1940s. She spent the last four months at the Pomperaug Woods in Southbury. She also lived in Chappaqua and Harrison.
Mrs. Mutti was born February 25, 1904 in Peekskill, NY to William and Elizabeth Christie Chase. She graduated from Peekskill High School and attended New Paltz Normal School.
On May 1, 1925, she married Charles Paul Mutti. Mr. Mutti passed away in 1967.
Mrs. Mutti is survived by two sons, Duane Alfred Mutti of Rowayton, CT and Charles Paul Mutti of Vero Beach, FL, and five grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home in Woodbury, CT.
