Burks moved his family from Farmington, New Mexico to Keller, Texas in 1975. He was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Keller. Burks retired after a long career working for Halliburton. He will be dearly missed.
Burks is preceded in passing by his darling wife of nearly 60 years, Frances Burks; and his parents.
He is survived by many loving family members and friends.
