"Death Claims Aged Painter At Corning"
CORNING, May 23 -- Adolphus J. Bowery, 82, a painter, died Sunday at his home south of Corning after an extended illness.
Deceased was born in Eden, Ohio. He had made his home in this section for the past 25 years.
Surviving are his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Elva Fowler, of Los Angeles, who is with her mother in Corning. Funeral services were held today at Corning. Rev. O.W. Whitford officiated. Interment was in Sunset Hill."
