MORRIS, Lorene Mae, 81, of New Cumberland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013.
Lorene was born Aug. 10, 1931, in Hundred, WV. She was the daughter of the late Chester and Ethel Mae (Hixenbaugh) Hostutler.
Lorene was a long time member of Tomlinson Run Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by a son, Herbert "Steve" Morris; two brothers, Jarold and Gerald Hostutler and two sisters, Norma and June Hostutler.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Herbert Morris, whom she married November 4, 1950 and two daughters, Sherrie (Sam) Ramsey of Georgetown, PA and Cheryl (Curt) Butler of Weirton, WV. She has five grandchildren, Mindy Morris, Chase and Chad Butler and Jennifer and Colleen Ramsey and three great-grandchildren, Micaela, Elijah and Ava Mae; four sisters, Nelda (Jack) Masters, Shirley Smith, Marlene (Gary) Evans and Carol (Robert) Smith and two brothers, Harold and Chester Hostutler.
Viewing will be held at Turley Funeral Home in New Cumberland, Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be officiated by Paul Blake, Jr; on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2 p.m.
Burial will follow at Mill Creek Cemetery in Georgetown, PA.
