Funeral service for Odene Gibson, 91, of Warren, Texas, were held Sept. 21, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Mack Standley officiating. Burial followed at Gardner Cemetery near Warren.
She passed away Sept. 19, at Woodville Convalescent Center.
Born June 28, 1912 in Hicksbaugh Community to William Henry Gardner and Ida Gertrude Tucker, she was a lifelong resident of Warren and she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Wayne Best and wife, Dana of Warren; step son, Thomas Gibson of Warren; two granddaughters Kim Baumgartner of Warren and Kelly Lott of Zavalla; two step- grandchildren, Randy Gibson of Warren and Kathy Cherry of Houston; numerous great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mel Baumgartner, Rodney Lott, Randy Gibson, Jerry Tolar, D. B. Dean and Jerald Adams.
Memorial may be made to Gardner Cemetery or charity of your choice.
