Evelyn (Rudicill) Smith, 69, of Cowpens, SC, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died Saturday, November 10, 2007, at her home.

Born April 12, 1938, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Carlos Pickney Rudicill and Mona Lee (Hollifield) Rudicill and the widow of Clarence Alvin Smith.

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Kim Fogle and her husband Joey of Boiling Springs, and Debra Vernon and her husband Bob of Cowpens; a son, Mike Willis; three sisters, Doris Cooke of Greer, Mildred Smith of Inman, and Bonnie Lee of Lake City; three brothers, Paul Rudicill of Inman, Michael Hanf of Lugoff, and Carroll Webster of Florence; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and another on the way.

Visitation was 5:00-7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 11, 2007, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 12, 2007, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Dr. Kirk Neely.

Memorials could be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
