Adeline Chadwell, 97, of Decatur, IL passed away August 29, 2021 at her residence.
Adeline was born May 9, 1924 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Edward and Pauline Cug Neubert. She married Eugene L. Chadwell on April 6, 1956 in Decatur, IL.
She loved animals and was a volunteer with the Humane Society. She also liked to help others in need.
Surviving are her children, Russel Chadwell (Rebecca) of Decatur, IL, Joanne Laura Chadwell of California; brother Charles Mheenbeek of Florida, sisters Elizabeth Griffith, Pauline Crispo and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene, both parents and infant son Frederick Eugene Chadwell.
Graveside funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Fairlawn Cemetery.
