Mrs Ella Wallace Blanchard, 81, resident of Syracuse for many years, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs Grace Pritchard, 140 South Avenue, after a short illness. Surviving are another daughter, Mrs Bertha Bloom of Freeville, two sons, Dean R Wallace of Phoenix and Burdette S Wallace of Syracuse; a sister, Mrs Bourlier of Pennellville and a brother, William Alexander of Syracuse. Mrs Blanchard's daughter, Mrs Pritchard is reported to be in a serious condition at her home as a result of her mother's death. Shortly after Mrs Blanchard succumbed, Mrs Pritchard was stricken with an attack of heart disease.
