Mrs. Zola Watson, 89, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Zola was born to Ferd C. and Mary Alice (Turner) Reams in Yarbro. She was a homemaker and a member of Ruddle Road Church of God. She was the last survivor of her family. Zola was an avid reader, quilter, and loved to play cards. She was a true "southern cook" and everything she cooked was wonderful. She loved her family and her church. Most importantly, she loved the Lord and was a true prayer warrior.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Watson; her parents; three brothers, Benjamin, Armon and Harley Reams; and four sisters, Elizabeth Downing, Celia Widener Cooper, Truly Williams and Mary Ellen Skelton.

Zola leaves three children, Patsy Keller and husband Richard of Blytheville, Jim Watson and wife Alice of Jonesboro and Terry Watson and wife Delana of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Vicki Isbell (James), Lori Ellis (Dennis), Tara Hudson (Jimmy), Brad Watson (Savannah), Kenny Derrick (Holly), and Jeff Derrick (Michelle); 11 great- grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and one unborn great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 13 at 10 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Pankey and Rev. Terry Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
