Born in Akron, a son of Aldus and Hulda Aikey, he passed away Thursday, March 14, 1975, in Paris. Mr. Aikey had lived most of his life in Akron, working for Chrysler in their Twinsburg stamping plant for ten years. He was transferred three years ago to the Paris location. A World War II veteran, he was a member of Akron Lodge 83 F&AM.
He leaves his wife, Rosemary; son, Joseph, U.S. Navy stationed in San Diego; daughter, Mrs. Mary C. Ramey of Paris, IL; and his brothers, Harry of Berea, Richard and Donald Aikey, both of Akron; and a sister, Louise Aikey of Woodstock, IL; plus two grandchildren.
