Mrs. Mildred Bridges Hill, 78, of Bedford, Va. died Tuesday, October 17,1978, in a Bedford hospital following a long illness.
Born in Chicago, Il., she was a daughter of Frank Arthur Bridge and Evelyn June Sherman Bridge. She had been a resident of Bedford for the past 12 years and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Surviving are her husband, John W. Hill of Bedford and formerly of Bramwell, one daughter, Mrs. Marcia Nordhaus, of Seattle, Wa., one sister, Mrs Dorothy Romans of Mamaroneck, N.Y. and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will beheld at 2 p.m. Friday at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Chapel in Bluewell with the Rev. C.R. Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery at Bluewell.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m.
