THREE OAKS, April 5 Mrs. Ada Knox, widow of Dr. R. G. Knox, was burled at Three Oaks this morning.
The widow of the doctor who came here from Chicago 25 years ago, died in Dowagiac of dropsy on Tuesday. Her husband died there last fall. Both lived in Three Oaks 15 years and then moved to the Round Oak stove town. Deceased is survived by a brother, Charles Mock of Dowagiac.
Rev. J. F. Hamilton of the Congregational church of Three Oaks officiated today. Burial was in Forest Lawn cemetery, the casket bearers being Lynn Edinger, Harry Case, G. P. Maloy, G. II. Beeson, E. T. Dryer,, and Theodore Dryer." From The News-Palladium, April 5, 1928, page 20
