The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Tuesday.
A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Tuesday.
Rev. George Ajuruchi, SSJ will officiate at the Funeral Mass.
Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
James was employed with LATCHCO for many years. He loved working hard so he could provide a good life for his family. As a pastime, he enjoyed playing softball, dancing, listening to music, and he especially loved spending time with his family and friends. James will be fondly remembered for his dedicated hard-work ethic and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Davis Abraham; three sons, Jarmal Davis, Markeyton Abraham and Markaylon Abraham; three daughters, Shawanna Davis, Viola Davis, and Erica Abraham; eight grandchildren, Rakivan Evans, Sharaven Evans, J'Kyra Williams, Zoey Charles, Jai'Dyn Davis, Carter Charles, Paislei Davis, and Maddison Charles; mother, Willie Mae E. Abraham; four brothers, Clarence Abraham, Lawrence Abraham, Lionel Abraham, and Harold Abraham; and his godchild, Conkeisha Celestine.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Abraham; and brother, Earl Junius Abraham
Pallbearers will be Rakivan Evans, Lawrence Abraham, Jr., Chad Goodie, Lionel Abraham, Markeyton and Markaylon Abraham.
