LT. COL. DONALD JOHNSTON PROCTOR (USAF, ret.), 70, of 3080 Walnut Grove, retired employee of Valmac Industries, died Saturday at Baptist Hospital after a short illness. Memorial services will be at 1 p.. Monday at Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal Church, where he was a member. Canale Funeral Directors has charge. He attended Georgia Tech, graduated from the University of Virginia, had a law degree from John Marshall School of Law, was an Army Air Corps pilot in World War II, served in Korea and was former commander of the Air Force Base of Savannah, Ga. He leaves his wife, Letitia Brooks Proctor; a daughter, Mrs. Edith Proctor James, and two grandchildren.
