Two Rivers - Roger W. Puls, age 87, lifelong resident of Two Rivers, died Friday morning, April 20, 2018, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Roger was born in Two Rivers on February 17, 1931 to the late Louis and Elizabeth (Geerdts) Puls. He attended Washington High School in Two Rivers and on December 2, 1950 married the former Carol J. Bonk at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Two Rivers. She preceded him in death just three months ago, on January 8, 2018. Roger was employed with Metal Ware Corp. of Two Rivers for 42 years, retiring in 1993. After retiring, he worked for Service Master, and was recognized as "Partner of the Year" by Service Master in 2001. Roger was a life member and very active with N.E.W.G. L.S.F. organization for many years; and very involved with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Manitowoc County for over 25 years. He was coordinator of the kids fishing event for 20+ years. Roger loved the outdoors and appreciated nature. He enjoyed hunting and fishing his entire lifetime; and was a life-member of the NRA. Roger enjoyed camping with his wife and family, and traveled extensively with them throughout the years. He will be greatly missed by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Maureen Puls of Manitowoc; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Thomas Drumm of Rhinelander; grandchildren: Melissa (Denis) Pelofske of Two Rivers, Harley Puls of Two Rivers, Kathryn Puls of Chicago, and Geoffrey Puls of Chicago; great grandchildren: Stephanie Moen, Tatum Puls and Adam Pelofske; one sister-in-law, Frances P. Puls, of Manitowoc; along with nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Carol J. Puls; two brothers and one sister: Lester (Doris) Puls, Earl Puls, and Gladys (George) Riehm; and by four sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law.

A celebration of life will be held for both Roger and Carol Puls at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St. Two Rivers. Mark Herrmann will preside at the service, with burials to follow in St. John's Cemetery in the town of Mishicot.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Tuesday morning, April 24, 2018 from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m.
