Amelio Ciccolini, age 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 18, 2021 after a lengthy illness. He was the second of seven children from the now deceased parents, Emilio and Albina (nee Ottaviano). He is survived by his siblings and their extended families; Fr. Sam, Tom (Judy), Don (Jeanne), Jim, Mary (Joe Bird), Liz (Mike Oddi). Amelio retired from the State of Ohio Taxation Division as a supervisor. He was known for his extensive knowledge of just about any subject having been an avid reader all his life. He was known for his generosity whenever someone was in need. He will be very much missed by family and friends. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church, 2101 17th St., Kenmore, OH 44314, with his brother, Father Sam officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please remit Pontifical College Josephinum, 7625 N. High St., Columbus, OH 44235.
