Scottish actor. Robert may be best known from the long-running British sitcom " Last of the Summer Wine" as the character Howard which ran from 1985 until 2010. He was the son of Douglas Fyfe and Mary Hutchison Irvine. He started his acting career in 1962 in a film by the title of "Gaolbreak" as Wally. Altogether he has nine films to his credit. He also had a part in an American remake of "Around the World in 80 Days" in 2004. Not only did he act in films, he also had roles in 251 television episodes from 1962 until 2017, such as "Dr. Finlay's Casebook" (1962), "The Return of Sherlock Holmes" (1988), and "Carters Get Rich" (2017). His wife Diana passed away before him. He passed away at the age of 90.
