Olive was the seventh of ten children born to Joseph Hazen and Olive Stoddard. The first three were born at Lebanon, Conn.

Olive was b. July 1778. She m. (1), at North Hero, Vt., 1800, Jonathan Haynes, b. at Bennington, Vt., 4 Jan. 1765, d. at Munson, 1833, son of Dr. Thomas and Miriam (Marsh) Haynes.

She m. (2), at Chardon, 7 May 1835, Barnabas Hamblin, b. on Cape Cod, Mass., 19 Feb. 1782, d. at Munson, 7 Nov., 1870, son of Barnabas and Mary (Bassett) Hamblin.
