Abraham & Keziah (Norris) Osmun were born on Long Island, but early in life removed to New Jersey and settled on a farm where they spent the remainder of their days.
He was a volunteer for service in the Revolutionary War, but was rejected on account of having one arm shorter than the other. He had a son, Seth Huron Osmun, who was one of the brave participants in the War of 1812...........[copied from the Memorial Record of Southwestern Minnesota, published in 1897]

Abraham and Keziah (Norris) Osmun were probably buried on the family farm, where they raised their children and spent most of their adult life.
