Funeral services for John Wesley Adams, 66, Athens Rt. 1, were Saturday at Sardis Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Calvin Inman officiating. Burial was in Reunion Cemetery, McConnell Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Sutton, Flint, MI, and Mrs. Hazel McClendon, Athens Rt. 1; four sons, Robert Adams, Athens Rt. 1, Dewey Adams, Toledo, OH, James Wesley Adams Jr., Athens Rt. 8, and Ollie Adams, Athens Rt. 4; 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; three brothers, Alvin Adams, Flint, MI, Edward Adams, Apopka, FL, and Vester Adams, Athens; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Holt and Mrs. Mattie Haggermaker, both of Athens.
