He was the exemplification of courage through his entire life dealing with the cruel birth defect as a Hydrocephalic infant. He was not expected to live beyond 3 years of age.

He always had a positive outlook on life and was not only a friend to all that meet him but provide a positive influence of all that knew him through out the entire community

He was a proud member, as a saxophone player, in the Jeffersonville High School Marching Band, and a devoted employee of Jerry's Restaurant for 27 years, His Job gave his live value and a purpose.
He was in the 1959 Graduation class of Jeffersonville High School and attended Indiana University for one year in 1960.
He was the biggest fan of the "Andy Griffith Show" (Andy of Mayberry) and Otis was his favorite character. He was watching one of his DVDs of the show when he passed to his new life.

William "BILLY" Linney was the loving son of:
Edith Wright Linney & Eugene Knott Linney,

Cinda Elaine Linney Richman of Louisville KY.
Eugene K Linney II of Henderson KY.
Shirley Shouse of Jeffersonville In.

He was preceded in death by his father Eugene and his sister Shirley
Billy was never married.

I felt so luck to be given to a brother such as Billy who taught me, through exemplifying what real courage was and how to deal with true difficulties in life with a smile. I loved him more than any one and will miss his departure from my life more that any words could begin to express here, It can only be felt in my heart.
