Leesville, SC - Services for Andrea "Angie" Frye Posey, 79, will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, at Pond Branch United Methodist Church with the Rev. Drew Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. in the Chapel of the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pond Branch UMC, 1913 Pond Branch Rd., Gilbert, SC 29054 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Posey passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021. Born in Leesville, she was a daughter of the late Julian Lester and Vida Estelle Oswalt Frye. She was a member of Pond Branch United Methodist Church and was the owner-operator of Lexington Printing.
Surviving are her children, Kathy Warren (Eric), Dondee Harmon Lewis (Dennis) and Jody E. Harmon; grandchildren, Matthew Warren, Drey Warren, Hannah Moore, Nia Harmon, Hayden Lewis, and Logan Lewis; 9 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Howard D. "Buddy" Posey Jr., brothers, Brooks, Bruce, Maurice, Milton, Johnny, and Atwood Frye and a sister, Naomi Bedenbaugh. The family would like to thank friends, family, neighbors, and Prisma Hospice for their loving care.
