Funeral services for Mrs. Alice M. Doty who died on Saturday morning at her home here, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Monrovia Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Henry A. Fisk, pastor of the Presbyterian church will officiate.
Mrs. Doty came to Monrovia with her family about four years ago from Roberts, Mont. Previous to Moving to Montana where she married R.E. Doty, she taught school in Iowa for more than twenty years.
She was active in the Woman's society of the Presbyterian church and a member of the D. A. R. Her unselfish character and thoughtfulness, made for her many friends who mourn her loss.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Loreen, age 14, a son, Harold, age 12.
Mrs. Doty had been ill for about six months but it was only about two weeks ago that her condition was thought serious.
