SHUBAEL 6 ABBEY (SAMUEL 5 ABBEY, BATHSHEBA 4 SMITH, MARY 3 AKERS, JOHN 2 AKERS (ACRES), WILLIAM 1 AKERS I) was born 20 Feb 1778 in Mansfield, Windham county, Connecticut and died 1801 in Mansfield, Windham county, Connecticut. He married POLLY HARTSHORN, 17 Sep 1797, Mansfield, Windham county, Connecticut. She was b. 5 Nov 1780, Marblehead, Essex county, Massachusetts; d. 1 Mar 1843, Mansfield, Tolland county, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Hartshorn (26 Apr 1747, Reading, Middlesex county, Massachusetts - 14 Apr 1791, Salem, Essex county, Massachusetts) and Sarah Swan (1750, Marblehead, Essex county, Massachusetts – aft. 1784, Essex county, Massachusetts). He was supposedly buried in the Abbe Cemetery on 45 Wormwood Hill Road in Mansfield, Tolland County, Connecticut with his wife, but there no marker or records of the burial found as of 2021.
