Born February 7, 1934, he was the son of the late Soney and Grace Gilley Crouch and widower of the late Avonia Johnson Crouch. He was a former business owner and former employee of the U.S. Forestry Service and was a member and deacon of the Salt Lick Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include 1 son, Bradley Crouch and his wife Nellie of Morehead, 1 daughter, Ericka Ratliff and her husband Tony of Salt Lick, 7 grandchildren, Michael Ratliff, Danielle Dotson and her husband Jimmy, Nahshon Crouch, Brittany Carter, Becca Carter, Erin Crouch and Morgan Ratliff, 1 great-granddaughter, Maci Dotson, 3 brothers, Robert Crouch and his wife Edna Mae of Salt Lick, Brian Crouch and his wife Barbara of Olympia and Dan Crouch and his wife Della of Salt Lick, 6 sisters, Frances Flannery of Olympia, Ruth Botts of Salt Lick, Juel Link and her husband Clifton of Salt Lick, Rachel Conway of Lafayette, GA, Carolyn Dale and her husband Gilbert of Mt. Sterling and Pam Bowman and her husband Bobby of Wellington.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 1 brother, Raymond Gene Crouch, a daughter, Rhonda Crouch, a granddaughter, Ashley Ratliff and a grandson, Ozzy Crouch.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday December 4 at 2:00 PM at the Salt Lick Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Lands and Bro. Keith McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in the Crouch Family Cemetery on Spring Hollow Road in Salt Lick. Visitation will be at the church after 5:00 PM Saturday.
