The former Catherine Ott was born April 1, 1907 in Wausau, Wis., the daughter of the late Conrad and Annette Horst Ott. She attended district schools in Wausau.
On September 26, 1927 she married Harold V. Gildner, of Sheboygan. He preceded her in death January 22, 1971.
On July 27 of 1975, she married Arthur C. Kautzer, of Greenbush. The couple were married at St. George Catholic Church, Elkhart Lake. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1984.
She had been employed at Leverenz Shoe Co. for 20 years. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Kautzer is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Donald A. and Charlene Gildner, Rochester, New York; two grandchildren, Garrett and Candace Gildner, of Rochester, New York; a step-son and four step-daughters, step-grandchildren and step-greatgrandchildren; two brothers, Fred Ott, Chicago, Ill., Reinholdt Ott, Schofield, Wis., one sister, Mrs. Herbert (Minnie) Schmitt, of Kiel.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Ballhorn 'Chapels. Rev. Lawrence Schmidt, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. Entombment will be in Garden Terrace Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Ballhorn Chapels after 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, to the time of service
