Ruthann passed away Monday, Oct. 18th 2021 at St. Mary"s Medical Center in Langhorne from a broken heart. She was 84 years old. Born March 15th, 1937 in South Langhorne (Penndel), she was the oldest daughter of the late Howard R and Ruth Ellen (McCabe) Potter.
Married September 31st 1956 at Langhorne Methodist Church, they recently celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary. A graduate of Neshaminy High School, Ruthann was a Licensed Cosmetologist. She taught Sunday School at Langhorne Methodist Church for years as well as helped care for her nephews and grandchildren. She had an encyclopedic memory for people and places. Ruthann was preceded in death by her parents and stepfathers Joseph A Koslosky and Elwood P Knight.
She is survived by her sisters Joann M Knight (widow of James), Dorothy E Davidson (wife of Walter) and brother Joseph A Koslosky (husband of Judith).
They will be greatly missed by their three children, Robert (Judith Grasso), Denise (David Sutton) James (Karen Morrison) seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous niece and nephews.
Inseperable in life, Ruthann and James will be laid to rest together Friday, Oct 29th 2021 at the James O Brandley Funeral Home Inc 260 Bellevue Ave, Penndel PA 19047 from 900 am to 1100 am with a Funeral Service to be held at 1100 am. Their interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery. Donations in memory of James and Ruthann may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
