John Beno Jr., 81, of Banat, Mich. passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Roubal Care and Rehab Center. He was born July 26, 1940 in Menominee, Mich. to the late John Sr. and Veronica (Mathias) Beno.
John lived in Banat for 6 months then wintered in Florida the other 6 months. John worked as a carpenter and also enjoyed doing masonry and working in the woods. He enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.
John is survived by his daughters: Kathy (James) Gerbenskey of Englewood FL and Sheryl Harris Beno of Englewood FL;
sons: Terry Beno and Greg Beno both of Englewood FL;
9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren;
sisters: Barb (John) Hollow of Marinette, WI and Sandy Beno of Peshtigo, WI;
and many sisters and brothers in law, nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his wife Glenda Kolberg of 30 years; sisters: Louise (Tom) Echols, Mary Beno and Rose DeLaurell and brothers: Frank Beno and Roy Beno.
Visitation for John will be Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Anderson-Diehm Funeral Home beginning at 10:00am until time of the memorial service at 11:30am.
